Marcus Rashford is now an FC Barcelona player. The 27-year-old winger arrived at the Ciutat Esportiva on Tuesday to meet his new teammates and has recorded a presentation video that the club will publish on its social media on Wednesday, when the official presentation ceremony takes place.
However, the Manchester United forward's contract signing is now a done deal. Fabrizio Romano leaked the information through his Twitter account, which means the England international can now wear the azulgrana shirt.

Rashford is joining on a one-year loan, until June 30, 2026, with a non-mandatory purchase option for 30 million euros. Barça will pay 14 million euros (€7M gross) of the forward's salary, as he agreed to reduce his wages by 15% to facilitate his move to Catalonia.

Barça, however, will not issue the official statement until Manchester United does the same, formalizing the 27-year-old forward's departure. Marcus has a contract with the 'Red Devils' until 2028, but his departure was considered a priority due to his high salary and the stance of manager Rúben Amorim.
The Portuguese manager kept him sidelined during the first week of the club's pre-season at Carrington, while the winger finalized the details of his move to Barcelona. Although he had other offers, some even more financially attractive, Marcus made it clear to his agent and his family that he only wanted to play for the azulgrana side.
Well, his signing has been finalized just before Barça's trip to Asia to play three friendlies between July 27 and August 3. In that regard, the Englishman's debut could take place next Sunday against Vissel Kobe (12:00 p.m. CEST), although this scenario is unlikely due to his lack of training.
The squad has been training at full capacity since last Monday, while Rashford has been training alone for the past few weeks. In any case, the Manchester native will have enough time to adapt to Flick's system and hopes to be cleared to play on the first matchday of La Liga, on August 16 against Mallorca.

Rashford's official presentation ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday at 18:00 local time in president Joan Laporta's office. As was the case with Lamine Yamal's official renewal ceremony, it will be a private event, although the player will give a brief statement to the press.
The winger will be accompanied by his agent, Arturo Canales, as well as his brothers, Dane and Dwayne. Afterward, he will visit the official Barça store to unveil his shirt number for the 25/26 season. In the evening, the player and his family will have dinner with the Barça board. On Thursday, Marcus will travel with the squad to Japan.
