In Turkey and Italy, rumors are increasing about Robert Lewandowski's possible departure from Barça. Fenerbahce and Milan are the teams that, for now, are making contact for the Polish player
Robert Lewandowski could become one of the most sought-after free agents in the European market in 2026. The historic striker's contract with FC Barcelona ends at the conclusion of the current season and, therefore, he will have complete freedom to negotiate with any team starting next January 1.
'Lewy' could leave Barça for free next summer if the Catalan club decides not to renew his contract. For now, there is calm on both sides regarding the future of the '9', who is currently focused on overcoming the muscular problems that have prevented him from performing at his best in recent months
For now, Barça's board is being cautious when discussing the striker's future. The club has the utmost respect for his status, but it's clear that his salary (26 million gross) and age (37) are two significant factors when negotiating a possible renewal. Meanwhile, several clubs are keeping an eye on Lewandowski's future, even with the upcoming winter transfer window in mind.
Fenerbahce wants Lewandowski as En-Nesyri's replacement in January
In Turkey, **Fenerbahce** is one of the most interested in Robert. As reported by journalist **Sercan Hamzaoglu**, the yellow team sees the Barça '9' as the ideal replacement for **Youssef En-Nesyri**. The Moroccan international, formerly of Sevilla, has a contract until 2029, but seems determined to move to Arabia in the next transfer window.
Fenerbahce's offer would tie Lewandowski to Turkish football until the summer of 2027, with an 18-month contract that would secure him a salary similar to what Victor Osimhen earns at Galatasaray (15 million gross, plus another 5 million in variables).
In that scenario, Barça could receive additional compensation, as the Pole has a contract for six more months. The Catalans paid 45 million to Bayern for his transfer in 2022 and, currently, the market value of the number 9 is €10 million.
Milan initiates contact with Pini Zahavi for Robert Lewandowski
On the other hand, AC Milan is also very interested in signing Robert Lewandowski, but at 'zero cost' in the summer of 2026. Just as happened with Luka Modric this year, the 'rossoneri' team seeks to make a statement with a high-profile signing who, despite his experience, can still contribute a lot sportingly to the team led by Massimiliano Allegri.
Regarding this, 'SKY Sport' assures that **Igli Tare**, Milan's sporting director, along with Zlatan Ibrahimovic, have already initiated contact with the striker's agent, **Pini Zahavi**, to try to convince him to move to San Siro. 'Lewy', for now, is only clear about his desire to continue playing in Europe in 26/27. If Barça decides not to renew him, Serie A could be his next destination
