United seeks reinforcements in Barcelona, with Rashford as a bargaining chip!

United wants to send Marcus Rashford to Barça, but is also interested in two culé references
The possible arrival of Marcus Rashford to FC Barcelona gives Manchester United hope of catching, at least, a 'top' reinforcement in the azulgrana team.
Rúben Amorim's team prioritizes a clean-up in their squad this summer and, in principle, two culés players sound strongly as possible reinforcements for the 'red devils'.
The latest information again places Ronald Araujo in the orbit of 'Man U'. The 'charrúa', although he recently renewed his contract, has an affordable release clause (65 million euros) in the first days of the next transfer window, does not contemplate his departure from Barça this year.
Although the '4' failed to regain his starting position in the second half of 24/25, he remains a reference point for the azulgrana squad and Hansi Flick maintains his confidence in him for the upcoming season.
United would go for Araujo and Fermín if Barça decides to sign Rashford
However, United will try to use Rashford as a bargaining chip for Araujo, as long as the center-back gives the green light to a possible swap. For the 'red devils', their defense has been a weak point in recent seasons and the goal is to sign the ideal partner for the young Leny Yoro.
Failing that, another player on coach Amorim's radar is Fermín López. The player from Huelva closed the season with 8 goals and 10 assists in 46 games, remarkable records considering that he was never an undisputed starter for Flick.
The idea of the Portuguese coach is to incorporate an attacking midfielder to help Bruno Fernandes with the creation of attack, but the '16' is also not interested in changing scenery this summer.
Fermín has a contract until 2029 and a release clause of 500 'kilos', with which he feels shielded by the club. In addition, the confidence of the coaching staff is key for the player from Huelva to prefer to stay in Barcelona to fight for a place alongside Dani Olmo and Raphinha himself, who would be a fixed attacking midfielder if the culés end up signing another left winger.
How much would Barça earn if they accepted a swap for Marcus Rashford?
In principle, Manchester will ask for 47.5 million euros for Rashford. If Barça accepted a swap for the English winger, they would receive an extra compensation in return (around 15 'kilos'), since both the Uruguayan center-back and the Spanish midfielder are listed in the order of 60 M€.

Iñaki Peña's departure is also almost certain. Along with the player from Alicante, any other player who expresses his desire to leave may be added, as he does not have real options to fight for a place in the team next season.
