The father of Rodrygo denies that it have negotiated with the Barça

Many of the rumours arisen during the last weeks ensured that the father of Rodrygo Goes had travelled to Barcelona to negotiate a possible traspaso to the Barcelona team in the future. Nevertheless, the own father has denied it
Rodrygo Goes Is one of the Brazilian youngsters that has sounded a lot for fichar by the FC Barcelona in the rumours arisen during the last weeks. The forward of the Saints is of these players that, in spite of his short age (17 years), has achieved to be a key piece in the offensive zone of the Brazilian team.
In the last weeks, some media aimed to that the father of the player would have travelled to Barcelona purportedly for tantear the possible interest of the Barça in doing with his services. However, Eric Goes denied that said trip have produced in some recent statements to Globoesporte.
"It has not arrived at all, neither of the Barcelona neither of any club, unless the president was it to me hiding to me", commented the father of Rodrygo, closing of definite form the speculations on a possible meeting with the FC Barcelona. Days backwards, the president of the Saints also denied that it have the intention to sell to his young star.
It does some days, a Catalan newspaper published the information of said trip of the father of the footballer in relation to the Barcelona interest in incorporating him, something that flattered to Eric Goes but that denied: "Until it would like me, it is one of the biggest clubs of the world. I scared me when I saw that the Spanish newspaper had published that was there. It is a city that want to know, but have not gathered me, no".
The father of Rodrygo finish leaving the ball in the roof of the Saints, admitting that the final decision on the future of his son also corresponds to his club: "At the end, an eventual negotiation depends also of the Saints, but can not speak until when it remains because it does not depend only of us. It is a thing between the clubs. Sometimes, I speak that it goes to remain until such date and arrives a proposal and the Saints accepts...".
The Saints leaves clear that Rodrygo will not go
José Carlos Peres, president of the Saints, explained that the Brazilian group does not have thought to sell to Rodrygo neither in the present season neither neither in the following: "we Are very happy that it play for us and is impossible that close a sale this year and next year neither see that it go to have a traspaso".
