Pau Víctor will continue his career at Sporting de Braga. The Portuguese team reached an agreement with Barça to take the player for around 10 million fixed

There are several players who are defining their future, as they are not in the plans of FC Barcelona for the next season. In this sense, Pau Víctor is one of them and will finally land in Portugal to continue his career as a footballer.

According to recent information, the '18' of the Blaugrana team will move to Sporting de Braga and will not travel to the pre-season tour with Barça.

Pau Víctor will leave the Catalan entity after having minutes in 29 matches (379') with the first team, in which he managed to score 2 goals and give 1 assist in the 2024/25 season.

It should be noted that the striker played the 23/24 season with Barça Atlètic on loan, where he saw action in 39 matches (3,491'), scoring 20 goals and assisting on 6 occasions. After his good performances, the Blaugrana team executed his 3 million euro release clause to get him out of Girona and gave him a contract until 2029.

Without concessions, Barça demanded a minimum of 10 million for Pau Víctor

Thanks to Mendes' mediation, Sporting de Braga has managed to finalize the signing for 10 fixed 'kilos', to which up to 3 million more in variables could be added if certain agreed objectives are met.

In the absence of the official announcement from both clubs, the player will arrive at a team characterized by prioritizing young talent and that tends to get good performance from them, in addition to having the possibility of playing in the UEFA Europa League.

Pau Víctor, no place in the squad for Hansi Flick

Although the player has great potential, coach Hansi Flick's priorities lie elsewhere. In principle, the native of San Cugat del Vallés was seen as Robert Lewandowski's replacement, but the player had few minutes to demonstrate his level, although in the pre-season of the 24/25 campaign he scored 2 goals against Real Madrid and 1 against Manchester City.
