Valencia joins the 'race' for Pau Víctor: Barça prioritizes a loan

Pau Víctor continues to gain 'girlfriends' for the next summer market in LaLiga. The forward is one of the fixed discards of FC Barcelona for 2025/26, due to the continuity of Robert Lewandowski and Ferran Torres.

According to 'Relevo', the Catalan forward is very close to becoming Valencia's first reinforcement for next season. Carlos Corberán's team completed a great 2025, finishing in 12th place after having closed the first round in the basement of the standings.

The player from Sant Cugat del Vallés only started against Valladolid (1-2) in the second half of 24/25 and closed the year with just 379 minutes spread over 29 appearances in which he added 2 goals and 1 assist.

However, Barça is only interested in negotiating a simple loan for Pau. The forward has a contract until 2029 and his termination clause is 100 million euros.

For the moment, he is listed for around 5 'kilos' in Transfermarkt, but the club is confident that his value will increase exponentially if he manages to be a starter at another club. For Valencia, it is essential to reinforce their attack, since their offense was the eighth worst in the tournament (scoring 44 goals, the same as Girona).

In addition to those from Mestalla, Betis is also very interested in negotiating his loan. Outside of Spain, Como (Italy) and Bayer Leverkusen (Germany) are the clubs that, for the moment, have asked about Pau Víctor. In 23/24, the attacker scored 20 goals in 39 games with Barça Atlètic.
