The FC Barcelona women's team debuted this Saturday (August 30) in Liga F 2025/26 with a resounding victory against Alhama FC ElPozo. The Azulgrana team, which started the season with the intention of winning the league title again, just like last season.

Thus, Pere Romeu's team left no room for doubt in their debut. At the Estadi Johan Cruyff, the Azulgranas won authoritatively with a resounding 8-0, confirming that they are still the team to beat in Spanish women's football.

Likewise, from the first minute, the team led by the 31-year-old coach showed a dominant, intense and vertical version, which completely overwhelmed an Alhama that could barely contain the offensive onslaught of the Catalan team.

Barça crushed Alhama with Claudia Pina as the star

In this context, the Blaugrana team, as mentioned above, was totally devastating against the Murcian team. Caroline Graham was in charge of the first goal, who in the 4th minute was in charge of sending a poisoned cross from Mapi León from the corner into the back of the net.

After this, in the 11th minute, Aitana Bonmatí was in charge of making it 2-0 after receiving a pass from Ona Batlle and sending a crossed ball to the left post of goalkeeper Elena de Toro Aldaria.

Likewise, at the end of the first 45 minutes of the match, the players went to the dressing room with a score of 4-0, since in the 27th minute the 3-0 arrived after Ewa Pajor took advantage of a bad clearance from one of the defenders of the Murcian team.

Also, in the 45+1 minute, Batlle was in charge of sending a right-footed shot to the rival goal from the half-moon that was impossible to stop for the Alhama goalkeeper for the 4-0.

For the second half, the story was no different, as Barça continued with its dominance of the match and in the 57th minute Graham was ready to make it 5-0 after receiving a pass from Pajor. At this point, Barça's control was already humiliating and in the 71st minute the 6-0 arrived after a crossed right-footed shot from Claudia Pina.

In the 73rd minute, the 7-0 went into the back of the net, which meant a double for Pina, who caught a cross in the area that surpassed all the Alhama players. The 8-0 was closed by the '9' to seal a resounding victory and a 'hat trick' in her first official match of the season.

It should be noted that this match coincided with the return of Alhama FC to the First Division of Spanish women's football, after two seasons out of this category.
