The UEFA decides to encourage the environment Champions of the city of Lisbon with a Champions trophy of ten metres. A gift for the fans of the best teams of the world
As it was to expect, the sequelas of the confinement and the measures of security against the Covid-19, have made impossible to breathe the environment Champios that usually generates this competition. By this reason, the UEFA has carried out an initiative to give back the joy to the fans in the Portuguese capital.
In the square of the Rossio, one of the most stood out of the city beside the square of the Trade, luce a trophy of the Champions inflatable of enormous dimensions; specifically, of ten metres of height. This "small" detail that has had the UEFA, does to remember to the fans that in Lisbon is celebrating the final to eight of the Champions, of where will go out the future champion of Europe.
Delivered by the Portuguese square, and surrounding to the big trophy, also there are several decorative signposts with the symbol of the UEFA Champions League and with the logo of the Final of Lisbon 2020 so that the transeúntes can photograph and inmortalizar the moment.
Everything aims to that, this year, the 'fan zones' that usually mounts the organisation for the fans of the two finalists, will not see them. It is the best solution to avoid a greater evil; and although it is evident that will not create the same environment, this reply of the Champions will remember to all the world that during 12 days the best teams of the world find in Lisbon.
A Champions different
We have to remember that neither the Stadium Gives Luz neither José Alvalade will allow the entrance of fans to his terracings like measure of security against the coronavirus. To both fields only will be able to go in the expeditions of each team, the referees, the personnel of the UEFA and the journalists and sponsors properly accredited.
Even so we already have been able to see some that another fan approaching to the 'Champions giant', do not concentrate in big groups, neither embrace singing songs to encourage to his teams, but somehow are near of the team to the that love.
