Messi and Luis Suárez, candidates to MVP of the UEFA 2013-14

The UEFA has confirmed this Thursday the list with the 10 candidates to the prize of Better Player of Europe of the season 2013-14. In her they appear two players of the FC Barcelona, Leo Messi and Luis Suárez. In the case of the Uruguayan, the merits did them being player of the Liverpool.  The others eight finalists are Christian Ronaldo, Ángel Gave María, Diego Coast, Philipp Lahm, Thomas Müller, Manuel Neuer, Arjen Robben and James Rodríguez. The team with greater representation is the Bayern of Munich, that has attained to plant to four players between the ten finalists. Barça and Real Madrid have two and Liverpool, Athletic of Madrid (Diego Coast has fichado by Chelsea) and Monaco, one.

The next 14 August, the list of ten footballers will reduce to only three players. The prize will deliver on 28 August in Monaco coinciding with the draw of the phase of groups of the Champions. This is the fourth edition of the prize that up to now only have carried three players: Franck Ribéry (2013), Andrés Iniesta (2012) and Leo Messi (2011).
