The Barça and Correos, near of an agreement to not postpone again the elections

The managing board of the FC Barcelona does not wish to expect after 7 March to initiate the process that will decide who will be his new president. It expects that for the next hours there is a decision on the new cronograma and the conditions for the vote by post. However, the doubt persists, since the vicinity in the dates with the elections to the Parlament and the novelties in the process could hinder the agreement.

The club sustains that the "final solution" will be decided in the next days, in spite of that desconoce if the sanitary crisis will sharpen or no for the month of March, what could carry to the authorities to decree a new phase of confinement. In meetings between the already clear-cut candidates, Víctor Font, Toni Freixa and Joan Laporta, and Carles Tusquets, the one who chairs the managing board, has remained decided the implementation of the vote by post after the approval by part of the Generalitat.

Although the vote could do by means of messengers, Tusquets wants that all pass of safe way and without impugnations, and will opt by the post certified. Nevertheless, from Posts have showed the possibility of a new postponement "by few days" owing to the electoral process for the Parlament, something unacceptable for the Barça, that already saw how his elections were postergadas to the detriment of his Statutes.

Likewise, the FC Barcelona for the first time will resort to the decentralisation of the vote. Cor Blaugrana Proposes more headquarters and electronic vote

By means of a campaign in the social networks, the movement Cor Blaugrana had positioned the label #MultiseusFCB to request the installation of a point of vote in each one of the 42 regions of Catalonia. However, the proposal lucía little viable, by what have asked at least have 14 headquarters, of which 11 would be deployed in each capital of the province of Barcelona. The proposal, that also includes the option of the electronic vote, has been remitted to the candidates Víctor Font and Joan Laporta for his consideration.

Laporta, to his time, sustains that there are not reasons to lose more time and that the elections had to celebrate on 24 January, since for then would have had all the sanitary protocols. Whereas Freixa, sustains that it will observe any decision emanated of the managing board.
