Felt message of the Barça to the victims of the explosion in Beirut

The FC Barcelona has added to the multiple condolencias and samples of support of the organisations and international institutions after it sucedido in Beirut in the last hours, where an incredible explosion has shaken the city and generated incalculable destrozos. The initial balances speak of more than 70 dead persons and 3.000 injured, although it foresees that these figures increase with the step of the days.

The Catalan entity has written a felt text in the social networks, giving the condolence to the population of the zone affected, where the Fundació Barça has made diverse actions solidarias along the last years. "Our more felt condolence and support to all the affected by the explosion in Beirut. Our hearts are with you", is the message that has moved the club.

Although still desconocen the exact causes of the explosion, everything began with a next fire to a factory of pyrotechnics, where would have stored material explosives of irregular form during years. The videos that have trascended through the social networks are sobrecogedores, and show the degree devastador of an explosion that, in hardly an instant, destroyed good part of the city.

The port of the Lebanon has remained inservible for now, and big part of the buildings are in ruins. A lot of people follows buried under the demolitions, and from the country already has asked international help to save the greater possible quantity of lives in a country, the Lebanon, sumido from does years in a strong economic crisis. The miserable incident of this 4 August aggravates even more a critical situation.

Actions solidarias of the Barça

In the last years, the FC Barcelona has devoted to develop and carry out distinct actions solidarias in the Lebanon through the Foundation Barça. An expedition of the Grouping Barça Jugadors visited the Valley of the Bekaa to know and participate in the program Football Net, oriented to Lebanese boys and refugees of Syria. The Barça Legends, simultaneously, also have played there lately.

No descarta that the FC Barcelona and other entities contribute his granite of sand, by means of actions solidarias in the weeks to come, to contribute to the reconstruction of a place that seems a city ghost.
