Alfons Godall, vice-president of the Fundació of the FC Barcelona, has presented his resignation after any of the companies that sponsor the organisation have decided to withdraw his sponsorship or have loomed with doing it for having joined to a subject controversial that began from the social networks and that caló of negative way in the surroundings of the Fundació.
All generated from a 'tuit' in which Godall showed his rejection to Rafa Nadal, the one who the past weekend conquered in Australia his 21 Grand Slam. The one who went vice-president in the first stage of the current president of the Barcelona club, Joan Laporta, sent a message showing his rejection to all what symbolises to Spain, what desató the designations in the social network.

This Tuesday, one of the sponsors of the Fundació, Mapfre would have announced to the Catalan entity his firm decision to withdraw the support to his Fundació, according to an information of Gerard Romero. It was therefore that Godall opted for separating not to prejudice to the club, especially after having had direct responsibility by the messages published.

Finally, the already ex vice-president explained his decision in a new 'tuit': "The tuit with my opinion on a famous character and his profile can prejudice to the Fundació of the FC Barcelona by the pressure of some companies and media. I do not want to cost him neither a cent to the FC Barcelona neither renounce to the freedom of expression, by what renounce to the charge. Thank you". Minutes afterwards hanged a new message to way of full stop. "By a series of reasons, today will sleep very calm. Good nights to all i Visca the Barça and Visca Catalonia lliure!".
