The Barça commemorates the Day of the Woman defending the diversity

This Monday 8 March commemorates the International Day of the Woman, a date that remembers the fight of the women by the equality, recognition and the defence of his rights. In a period in which they have increased considerably the femicidios, on exploitation and injustices, women all over the world join this 8M to heave his voice and the FC Barcelona, as in previous years, has launched a campaign that defends and "pleads for the need to recognise the diversity to advance to the equality".

The commemoration of this date looks for to be an element unificador, that strengthen the support to the rights and the participation of the women in the political fields, social, cultural and economic, historically dominated by the masculine figure. In this line, the Barça has taken advantage of the opportunity to highlight that "until we do not accept that all are different – women and men, women and women, men and men- will not be possible to attain the parity", as they have written in his web page.

The culés have launched a campaign that has had like purpose ask "What makes you different?" (What does you different?) And that it was presented in a video that gathers the actions taken in the day of the weekend, so much in the masculine team like feminine, when, in the previous of his parties, vistieron some T-shirts that substituted his names with a series of attributes and notable characteristics of his character and form to be.

The footballers of Luís Cortés chose attributes like ambition, strength, prowess, passion or performance, whereas the first masculine team, with Ronald Koeman, chose characteristics like effort, respect and optimism. Besides, they substituted his dorsal by the '8M', in reference to the date of the celebration. To his time, dressed a bracelet of lilac colour during the party, the same that the teams of handball and hockey skate.

Invitation to all the barcelonismo

The FC Barcelona does not want that his efforts to defend the diversity remain only inside the club, with his players, players and workers, but it expects that partners, partners and fanatical around the world join to the efforts in a historical day.

In this sense, the culés have invited to the barcelonismo to publish in his social networks a photography in which they show doing the mathematical symbol of the difference (≠) and using the hashtag #WeAreAllDifferent8M (All are different 8M). Besides, the club has said that along the day will publish different images with the Barcelona players making this symbol of the difference.
