The judge Carmen Lamela has refused to put in freedom to the ex-president of the Barcelona Sandro Rosell, in prison from 25 May accused to remain with 6,5 million euros of the sale of audiovisual rights of 24 friendly parties of the Brazilian selection of football, that afterwards bleached in Andorra.

According to the judge, exist "founded indications" of the presumptive participation of Rosell in crimes of belonging to criminal organisation and of bleaching of capitalsIn the car in which deniega the freedom to Rosell, the judge refuses also leave free to another of the arrested persons in the operation Rimet, the lawyer and Andorran politician Joan Besolí, to the that attributes him the creation of companies in the Principality with which purportedly bleached the money.

According to Lamela, still persists the risk of escape, of destruction of proofs and of criminal reiteration, since they exist "founded indications" of the presumptive participation of both in crimes of belonging to criminal organisation and of bleaching of capitals.

With regard to the rooting invoked by Rosell for conjurar the risk of escape, the judge believes insufficient that have Spanish nationality, properties in Spain and two daughters that live in this country, since the investigation has put of self-evident his ease to travel and live temporarily in distinct places of all the world. It remembers, in this sense, that possesses "a big fortune", as well as accounts and goods out of Spain, that would facilitate him his escaped and his subsistence in other countries.
