The arrival of the Barça Academy in Romania is thanks to an agreement with FC Chindia Târgoviște, a team in the Romanian second division

FC Barcelona announced the arrival of the Barca Academy to Romania, in partnership with FC Chindia Târgoviște, with the intention of sharing the Barça team's work methodology in the southeastern European nation.

In the statement published by Barça, it is explained that, as part of the project, periodic visits to the participating club are contemplated, with the aim of supervising and analyzing the development of the training sessions.

Likewise, these days allow evaluating the preparation, execution and planning of the sessions, as well as the general performance of the coaching staff.

In addition, a comprehensive review of the methodological, pedagogical and technical skills of the coaches is carried out. The program also includes monitoring of the players, focused on the detection of strengths and areas for improvement, in accordance with the training standards established by the Barça Academy.

In this context, the letter also indicates that Chindia, which competes in the second division of Romania, became the first club to work with the aforementioned process.

The agreement was signed with the presence of Rafa Yuste, sports vice president of Barça; Marius Pavel, owner of the Romanian club and representative of the Barça Academy Bucharest; Benny Megreli, director of the Barça Academy; and Sergi Barjuan, sports director of the Barça Academy.

It should be noted that, as part of the training program, the technical directors of the associated clubs will have the opportunity to participate in a week of intensive training at the facilities of the Barcelona team.

Therefore, thanks to this process, the participants will be able to learn about the work methodology of the blaugrana club, delving into its technical and pedagogical principles, in addition to sharing with the staff of the Barça Academy.

Barça Academy consolidates its global presence with 30 international locations

On the other hand, the institution did not miss the opportunity to highlight that the work of the Barça Academy takes place in 30 academies worldwide, for which, thanks to international clinics, more than 45,000 boys and girls have learned to play soccer through the system of the azulgrana team.

It is important to highlight that the Barça Academy is the model used by the Catalan team to promote comprehensive training for children, which is used in the lower categories of the club up to the first team, considering the offensive and creative style of play, starting from values such as respect, effort, humility, ambition and teamwork.
