Barça officially closed the 24/25 financial year with positive numbers. After a conservative market in the summer of 2024, the club cleaned up its accounts with almost 25 million in profits
The market balance for the 24/25 financial year was positive for FC Barcelona. Although nothing was finally received for the departure of Clément Lenglet and Ansu Fati, who finally left on loan to Monaco on July 1, the club earned more than it spent on signings last season.
In total, Barça invested 59.9 million euros in reinforcements last season. The first team only incorporated Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor, while Mamadou Mbacke, Alan Godoy and Raúl Dacosta arrived to the reserve team via transfer.
The balance for the first team could not have been better, with a national treble (League, Cup and Super Cup) in the Barça's trophy cabinets. The reserve team, however, completed a disastrous season, dropping to Segunda RFEF (fourth category).
Vitor Roque, Barça's best income in 24/25
As for sales, the difference was undoubtedly made by Vitor Roque. The Brazilian had left on loan to Betis in August, but in January he decided to return to his country with Palmeiras. The 'Verdao' paid 25.5 million fixed plus another 5 M€ extra in variables, with which the club ensured to recover the 30 'kilos' that it had paid to Athletico Paranaense in 2023 to sign him.
The second operation in terms of income was the sale of Nico González, also in the winter market. Barcelona reserved 20% of the capital gain from the transfer for the Galician, who left Porto for Manchester City for 60 million. 13.3 M€ went to the Barça's coffers.
Further down the list of income are Mikayil Faye and Julián Araujo, who left for Rennes and Bournemouth for 10.3 and 10 million respectively. At the end of 24/25, Como paid the termination clause of Álex Valle (6 'kilos'), while Unai Hernández also left for Saudi Arabia after paying his clause (4.5 M€).
The last sale computed in the 24/25 financial year was that of Sergi Domínguez, who signed for Al-Ittihad in exchange for 1.2 million. Noah Darvich also left the club on July 1, but this income already belongs to the 25/26 market.
As far as percentages of future sales are concerned, the best news came thanks to Jean-Clair Todibo. The Frenchman signed for West Ham for 40 million euros and Barça, who had reserved 20% of his rights, received 8 'kilos'.
Ludovit Reis (1.7 M€), Ilaix Moriba (600,000 €), Álex Collado (500,000 €) and Ferran Jutgla (50,000 €) also left 'pinches' through this route. In the summer of 2024, Clément Lenglet also contributed 3 million when he went on loan to Atlético, who finally signed him this year at 'zero cost'. In total, Barcelona earned 84.7 million in the market in the previous financial year.

Of the reinforcements signed, Dani Olmo was the only high outlay last summer. The transfer of the attacking midfielder was closed at 47 'kilos' net plus another 13 M€ in variables, of which Barça has already disbursed 8.
Pau Víctor, meanwhile, cost 2.7 million after his good spell with the reserve team in 23/24. Girona received the amount corresponding to his clause, as did Los Angeles FC. The US team invoiced 2 'kilos' for the sale of the Senegalese central defender Mamadou Mbacke.
The other purchases of the club were Alan Godoy and Raúl Dacosta, who arrived at the reserve team together with Mbacke for 150,000 and 50,000 euros, respectively. The total investment was 59.9 'kilos' which, contrasted with the 84.7 M€ earned from sales, leaves a favorable balance of 24.7 million.
