Barça denies the hoax about the award of the works in the Camp Nou

Through an official communiqué spread in all his platforms, the FC Barcelona has desestimado the information that has given to know 'The Confidential', indicating that the managerial board of the club chaired by Joan Laporta would have incurred in a series of irregularities in the procedure to award the works to the Turkish company Limak, to the time that has cleared in what have consisted all this management.

They deny irregularities in the precalificación

In the first place, the document denies categorically the fact that the quoted signature could be part of the process according to the agreement of bidding: "In no case it exists an agreement of bidding like such, but inside the procedure of bidding exists a phase of precalificación and another phase of sending of the fold of conditions. The fold of conditions sent in date 1 September 2022 allows to all the companies that have participated to present to the bidding put that all they fulfilled with the last criteria of precalificación established by the FC Barcelona".

Later, they have reiterated that Limak did not have any type of obstacle to present to the process of precalificación: "The precalificación to which does reference bases in documents of the year 2017 that formed part of a bidding of the construction of the field with the ancient Project, of the previous Managerial Board. In relation with this previous bidding, sent through the Portal of Providers in date 17 December 2020 a communiqué to all the companies participants in which it established that the process remained postponed until after the elections to choose new Managerial Board and that when it had novelties on the bidding would communicate to all they. The bidding reactivated in September of 2022, moment in which it sent the fold of conditions to all the companies participants inviting them to present his offers".

Likewise, they sustain that the president of the club, Joan Laporta, in any moment has jumped the norms fixed by the Catalan entity in the fold of conditions for the start of the process of bidding, indicating besides the date of the new bidding to finals of the past year: "The fold of conditions has not been broken place that links the new bidding, that is the one of date 1 September 2022".

Limak himself Fulfilled with the parameters defined previously by the institution. In this section, 'The Confidential' has committed an error when taking like reference the documents of pre corresponding qualification to the year 2017 and no to 2022: "As it has exposed previously, the document that does reference is the pre qualification that initiated in 2017, in no case corresponds with the requirements of the fold of conditions of 1 September 2022".

They deny eventual problems to municipal level

Finally, they have descartado that the already denied present irregularities in the precalificación suppose some complication in the future to the moment to obtain licences by part of the municipal administration: "The formality of obtaining of licence of works with the City council of Barcelona is totally independent of the process of adjudication of the company that will make the construction. In no case it is in risk the licence of works because the headline of this is the FC Barcelona like promoter of the works, no the company constructor".
