The historic season began to take shape in January 2025, when Barcelona convincingly defeated Real Madrid 2-5 in the final of the Spanish Super Cup, held in Saudi Arabia. It was the first warning that Flick's project came with ambition and firmness.
Months later, in April 2025, the Azulgrana team once again prevailed over their eternal rival, this time in the final of the Copa del Rey, with an exciting 3-2 that lifted the Barcelona fans. Finally, on May 15, Barça sealed its 28th LaLiga EA Sports championship thanks to its victory against Espanyol, reaching 85 points and leaving Real Madrid without mathematical options.

With a squad that has been the youngest in the entire First Division, Barça has combined the flair of its youth players with the experience of its pillars.
In the decisive derby against Espanyol, Lamine Yamal and Fermín López were in charge of scoring the goals that certified the league title. Both symbolize the new generation that is leading the future of the club with an overwhelming personality.
Big celebrations
To commemorate this unprecedented milestone, the club has organized two major events. This Friday, May 16, the team will hold a úa through the streets of Barcelona, which will start from the Spotify Camp Nou and end at the Arc de Triomf.
In addition, next Sunday 18, after the match against Villarreal in Montjuïc, the final party will take place at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys, with music, pyrotechnics and the presentation of the League trophy.
