Bayern is looking to close the signing of Nick Woltemade, one of the sensation strikers of the Bundesliga. Barça is also in the race for the Stuttgart player
Nick Woltemade is only 22 years old and is one of the most promising strikers in Europe. In this sense, different European teams are interested in the services of the young German striker who plays for Stuttgart. Bayern Munich took the lead and sent an offer to the last champion of the German Cup.
The proposal that the Munich club has sent to 'the Reds' for Woltemade consists of the payment of 60 million euros, a bonus and a percentage of future sale. This is according to information leaked by Florian Plettenberg, a journalist from 'Sky Sport', who assures that Stuttgart would have rejected this offer.
The numbers of the Teutonic attacker in the last season were excellent. He scored 17 goals and provided 3 assists in 33 games played. Thanks to this performance, he was taken into account by Julian Nagelsmann to play the Nations League with the German national team.
Stuttgart will demand 75 million euros for Woltemade
Woltemade's link with Stuttgart ends in June 2028, which is why the German team wants to get the most economic benefit, demanding 75 million euros from any club that wants to own his card.
Bayen, for now, is not willing to pay the amount stipulated by Stuttgart. The agent of the young German striker, Danny Bachmann, declared in 'DPA' his annoyance because the current winner of the German Cup does not want to give in to negotiations with his representative.
"The club's response, demanding an unrealistic sum of 75 million euros for a player who arrived as a free transfer, but with a low ranking, is not only unfounded, especially for a national transfer, but is also in clear contradiction with previous agreements," he said.
Nick Woltemade has been linked to Barça
Not only Bayern has been interested in Woltemade. Barça has also thought of the German gunner as a possible replacement for Robert Lewandowski, who has one year left on his contract.
'Lewy', one of the highest paid players in the Barça squad, will leave the club in June 2026 and become a free agent. For this reason, Barça is doing the task of securing a '9' for next season.
However, the Barça team would not be willing to even get close to the economic demands of Sttutgart for Woltemade. The 'culés', on the other hand, keep Erling Haaland and Julián Álvarez as priorities in terms of a 'top' signing. If it is a matter of making a high expense, the idea is to go for a consolidated 'crack'.
