In an interview conceded to one of the sponsors of "The Red", Safe Pelayo, Sergio Busquets has elogiado deeply the figure of Xavi Hernández and has ensured that it is not normal to be in a concentration of the Spanish selection without his presence.

"It does very odd be without him. Since I began so much in the FC Barcelona as in the selection always has been, have carried us of wonder and has been an example of everything, of compañerismo by all what has helped me and contributed", has begun the defensive pivote of the Barça.
