Barça begins its journey in November this Sunday when they host Elche. The calendar demands 4 League matches and 2 Champions League matches for Flick's team in the penultimate month of 2025
FC Barcelona has a very interesting schedule ahead in the month of November. In total, Hansi Flick's team will play 6 official matches in the 11th month of 2025, divided equally between away and home games. In La Liga, Elche will be the first 'Azulgrana' rival of a month that will also have a pair of Champions League matchdays to play.
Three days after the match in Montjuïc against Elche, Barça will visit Bruges for the fourth matchday of the Champions League group stage. Afterwards, they have to go to Vigo to face Celta for Matchday 12 of La Liga, just before the third international break of 25/26.
November, possible month of the expected return to Spotify Camp Nou
Right after the international matches, on Sunday, November 22, it's time for Matchday 13 of La Liga against Athletic. The match is of particular importance, as it could be the first to be played in the renovated Spotify Camp Nou.
The club already has the first occupancy license for phase 1A (27,000 spectators), but prefers to wait for the enabling of the Lateral stand, which will expand the capacity to 45,000 fans. The reason for this decision lies, basically, in UEFA's requirement to have at least three stands enabled in order to adequately segregate the visiting public.

The idea is to carry out an operational test next Friday the 7th with an open-door training session at the Estadi, with 23,000 seats available. If the 'culé' temple is not ready in its phase 1B to receive Athletic, there are also good options to reopen the Camp Nou the following week, against Alavés.
The Vitoria team will visit Catalonia on Saturday, November 29. If the operating licenses for the Barça stronghold are delayed again due to some setback in the works, the team will continue to play its League and Champions League matches in Montjuïc, at least until February 2026.
Upcoming Barça matches:
- Home matches: 3
- Away matches: 3
- La Liga matchdays: 4
- Champions League matchdays: 2
- Opponents: Elche, Brugge, Celta, Athletic, Chelsea, and Alavés
Club Brugge and Chelsea, Barça's next rivals in the Champions League
In the Champions League, in addition to Bruges, Hansi Flick's team must also visit what, in theory, will be the most complicated stadium in the league phase: Stamford Bridge. Barça will go to London to face Chelsea on Tuesday, November 25, for matchday 5.
The 'Blues' are the current world champions and are coming off winning the Conference League the previous year. This season, Enzo Marresca's team started by losing in the Champions League against Bayern (3-1), but recovered with wins against Benfica (1-0) and Ajax (5-1). In the Premier League, the team remains close to the top four places, although far from the leader Arsenal.
