Cat was introduced to the world on November 29 at the 125th anniversary gala of FC Barcelona, held at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in the city of Barcelona. She is the commemorative mascot of a very special year for the Catalan institution and is present at the home games of the different sections of the club. However, her arrival coincided with the beginning of a difficult time for the first men's football team.
She made her debut at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys against UD Las Palmas, as did the anthem L'escut al pit. However, the performance of Hansi Flick's pupils in that match was not good and the result was 1-2 in favor of the Canary Islands team. Then came three consecutive away games, two in La Liga and one in the Champions League: to Mallorca, which ended with a 1-5 victory, to Sevilla to play against Real Betis, which ended in a 2-2 draw, and to Dortmund, where Barça took all three points thanks to a double from Ferran Torres in the final moments. As it was away from home, Cat was unable to watch any of the games.

The next one, against Atlético, despite the fact that the performance of the Barcelona players was good, ended with a cruel defeat at the last minute (1-2) that put the colchoneros in the lead in La Liga. Another two games without celebration for the wild cat.
However, Barça applied the saying "new year, new life" and started 2025 on a high note. They eliminated Barbastro in the Copa del Rey and won the Spanish Super Cup after leaving Athletic Club and Real Madrid behind. Despite the fact that these big matches were far from the city of Barcelona, Cat was able to celebrate his first victory in an exhibition of football in the round of 16 of the national knockout championship against Real Betis (5-1). So, he has already taken that weight off his shoulders.
