Dinner of champions! Barça continues the celebrations for the national treble

FC Barcelona continued with its schedule of celebrations for winning the national treble (League, Cup and Super Cup) with a special dinner that brought together the squad and the Barça's technical staff with the club's board. The meal, led by president Joan Laporta, took place at the La Catalina de Gavà restaurant. 

Along with members of the board, the first team players and their coach, Hansi Flick, shared a very special 'champions dinner'. For the Barça squad, the only absentees were Lamine Yamal and Jules Koundé, the latter in France to be part of the Cannes Film Festival.

The full-back, still recovering from the injury suffered in the Champions League against Inter, took the opportunity to return to his country to the renowned film event. Lamine, for his part, also took advantage of the three days off granted by the technical staff to attend personal commitments, but will be back at Can Barça on Thursday.

In that sense, the entire squad will return to work on Thursday 22nd in the morning to prepare for the last game of 24/25, against Athletic Club (Sunday at 21:00 hours). There have been many celebrations since the consecration in the League in Cornellà, but there are still commitments to attend to, although the match in San Mamés, like the one against the 'Yellow Submarine', is totally inconsequential.

Before the champions' dinner, Hansi Flick and Deco had a meeting on Tuesday morning to start preparing the 25/26 squad. In principle, three or four players are likely to leave, along with the arrival of at least a couple of 'top' reinforcements for the Barça's attack and defense. In any case, the club will wait until June to announce the relevant departures, renewals and signings.
