Barcelona outlines an unprecedented agreement with DR Congo: What will be the amount?

A sponsorship with DR Congo could reinforce Barça's finances for four seasons. The agreement is already very advanced
Very good news for the finances of FC Barcelona and their crusade to reach the 1:1 rule and move normally in the transfer market again. The culé team is very close to reaching a new sponsorship agreement that would bring an economic benefit of around €40 million.
Barcelona would have a new sponsorship agreement with the Democratic Republic of Congo
According to several sources, the team from the Ciudad Condal has a very advanced sponsorship agreement with the Democratic Republic of Congo. A pact that would be sealed over four seasons and would consist of the logo 'DRC, cœur de l’Afrique' –DRC, heart of Africa– appearing as part of a campaign to promote tourism in that country, hand in hand with an international brand like Barcelona. In turn, it would go a step further: also supporting the development of Congolese football.
It is worth remembering that on May 19, the Congolese Minister of Sports, Didier Budimbu, accompanied by his work team, landed in Barcelona and visited the club's offices to hold a meeting with senior executives. In addition, he took the opportunity to tour the facilities of the Sports City and personally presented the project, which was well received by Barcelona.
Where would the DRC logo appear on the Barça shirt?
What is still not clear is how the emblem 'DRC, cœur de l’Afrique' will be reflected on the blaugrana shirt, should this agreement be finalized soon. From Mundo Deportivo, for example, it has been commented that this logo would appear on the back of the training kit of the first men's team.
However, it would not be at all unreasonable to follow the example of AS Monaco, a team that has also just formalized an agreement with 'DRC, cœur de l’Afrique'. In their case, they have announced it as a premium partner until 2028, and will give visibility to the brand by placing its logo on the sleeve of the professional team's shirt, both in the local tournament and in European competitions.

They have also revealed that, in the case of the lower categories –specifically the under-17, under-19 and elite group teams–, the logo will appear on the front of the shirt. It will also extend to the club's local visibility supports and all its communication platforms.
