Koundé puts Xavi Hernández 'through the roof' on his arrival at Barça

The new player of the FC Barcelona, Jules Koundé, attended to the official means of the Barcelona club to review his arrival to the Camp Nou. In the interview for 'BarçaTV' the defender confessed on the telephone call with Xavi Hernández, previous to confirm his signing.

"It liked me the conversation that had. It happened me the time flying and is very good signal when speeches of form so natural". Desveló besides that "he thought that I fit very well in his system. Especially we speak of football, is of what more likes me to speak and on if it is with the míster, with Xavi, that like player was one of the best".

On the plans of the technician, Koundé commented that "the míster wants to presionar up and leave a lot of space to the back. That every time that it lose the balloon it was necessary to tighten and the one who was more near of the balloon has to tighten, and this likes me a lot because a big part of my game is the intuition and anticipate to try have an advantage in front of the forward".

The defender revealed that to one of which consulted before his signing by the Barça was his compatriot Ousmane Dembélé: "I Spoke a bit with Ousmane when it knew that more or less it was clear that the Barça was my favourite option. Really it went by the ambitious project and the very good dynamic. The past year did a second brutal turn and then had it clear when I felt the interest of the club and of the míster", explained Koundé.

Closing his meeting with the official channel of his new club, the Frenchman signalled that "it is a project in the short term, of course, because the football does not give you time and especially in the Barça where demands a lot, but there are players that are growing and go to reach his best level in one or two years".

Adding that "it is a beautiful project to grow all together but it is necessary to begin to win already from next year. I am very happy but this does not stop. Now I am in the Barça and very well but want to more, want to have prominence and win titles, and this is what motivates me".
