Barça Atlètic loses a fundamental piece in their defense, Landry Farré will be out for around 2 months
Barça Atlètic has lost one of its references in defense, as Landry Farré has suffered a sprained right ankle that will leave him out of the field for about eight weeks (two months), according to the club's official medical report.
This injury will affect the Catalan team's subsidiary for a good stretch of the start of the season, with the first match being on September 7, when Barça Atlètic will face Porreres Balear.

Farré, like Jan Virgili and Juan Fernández, joined the first team squad from the start of the preseason in July. The left-back was a starter on Saturday in the final of the U-20 Intercontinental Cup against Flamengo, where the Blaugrana team fell on penalties.
Landry Farré, out until November due to a severe sprain
Landry would already be working with the team's medical staff for the start of the recovery and treatment process. The young defender must take this type of situation calmly, as ankle problems often cause relapses if they are not treated with caution. His return would take place in early November, if all goes well.
Farré played 21 games last season in the Primera Federación, totaling 1,205 minutes. For the current season, it seems that the Brazilian coach Juliano Belletti was counting on him as undisputed on the left lane. Against Flamengo, he played 90 minutes (he was replaced in added time).
The Ivory Coast native has also been a major protagonist of the UEFA Youth League last season, being key in the defense of the champion team. Even, the youth player has been selected Spanish in the lower categories using the captain's armband.
Belletti faces the start of the season with a fair squad and key absences
The truth is that Barça Atlètic does not have a vast squad with which to compete in the Segunda RFEF because several players are available to Hansi Flick and others are leaving in these last days of the transfer market. This is a product of the team's relegation to the fourth category of Spanish football.
Belletti has a great challenge ahead in the search for the promotion of the culé subsidiary to the Primera Federación, so he must have a good eye to have young players who help him meet the objectives of the sports project. Of course, without Landry Farré in the initial stretch of the season.
