Nike wants to launch a commemorative kit with Barça from 05/06 for the end of this year or the beginning of 2026
Nike has a campaign to revive the collections of its famous 'Total 90' line and FC Barcelona is participating in it. The social network X account 'Memorabiblia 1899' reported that the American company and the Blaugrana team will launch a retro version of the home shirt for the 2005/06 season in long sleeves.
The shirt is special for two reasons: on the one hand, it belongs to the last season in which the club played without a main sponsor on the chest of its elastic. In addition, with that kit, Barcelona won its second Champions League in Paris, after 14 years of drought. This season marks 20 years since that feat.
The shirt was worn by players such as Ronaldinho, Andrés Iniesta, Xavi Hernández, Samuel Eto'o, Leo Messi and by the current coach of Barça Atlètic, Juliano Belletti, who scored the winning goal in the Champions League final played in Saint-Denis against Arsenal (2-1).

Barça's third shirt for 25/26 also joins the retro wave
For this season, Barça's third shirt uses a remake of the base design of the 'Total 90' collection. In addition, it uses an orange very similar to that of the alternative clothing with which the club won the sextuple in 2009.
The orange elastic was used in the victory in the Club World Cup final against Estudiantes de La Plata (1-2), a match defined in extra time with a goal by Leo Messi scored with his chest.
This 2025, the orange clothing features the 'Total 90 Bright Mango' template and is accompanied by a dark blue ‘Midnight Navy’ on the collar, sleeves and numbers, name and sponsors, as well as the club logo.
The color orange has been a historical color for FC Barcelona, which is back after 11 years. The last time the culé team wore orange was in the 2014/15 season, when they obtained their second treble with Luis Enrique as coach.
Barça could debut the third kit in the match against Rayo Vallecano
FC Barcelona has not yet been able to debut any of its official shirts this season. On the first day of LaLiga EA Sports 25/26, against Mallorca at Son Moix, the club had to use the lime green shirt from the 24/25 season (third).
In principle, Barça hoped to debut the orange shirt against Levante, but the change in criteria by LaLiga for the choice of kits meant that none of the kits passed the filter of the new 'Kit selector'. For this reason, Hansi Flick's team returned to using the green clothing in the Ciutat de Valencia.
This Sunday, August 31, against Rayo at the Estadio de Vallecas, the culés, finally, will be able to debut any of their new shirts, since none have contrast problems with the white that the Madrid team uses in their home kit.
