Barcelona announces reconciliation with Ter Stegen after signing the report for LaLiga and closing his disciplinary file
The panorama regarding the war between Marc-André Ter Stegen and FC Barcelona is beginning to clear up. The Blaugrana team has announced through its information channels that the German goalkeeper has already signed the respective report on his injury so that it can be transferred to the Medical Commission of LaLiga and it can carry out its pertinent assessment, in order to assess whether or not it qualifies for the Catalan team to take advantage of article 77 of the Budget Preparation Standard for Clubs/SADs.
This would allow the culé team, after the validation of the medical report of MATS by the Medical Commission of LaLiga —if a period of absence of more than four months is estimated— to use up to 80% of the salary space of the native of Mönchengladbach to register new signings and the recently agreed renewal agreements. Names like the following could benefit here:
- Joan García
- Wojciech Szczęsny
FC Barcelona's statement on the signing of the medical report by Ter Stegen:
FC Barcelona issued a statement that reads as follows:
"FC Barcelona informs that the player Marc-André Ter Stegen has signed the authorization for the club's Medical Services to process the mandatory medical report with LaLiga as a result of his surgical intervention"
In turn, in that same informative note, the return to the captaincy for the German goalkeeper and the definitive closure of the disciplinary file that had been opened against him are announced. "The disciplinary file is closed and the player recovers the captaincy of the first team with immediate effect," he concluded.
Ter Stegen's conciliatory attitude anticipated an agreement with Barça
This was an outcome that perhaps was coming. It should be remembered that, in one of the sections of the statement issued recently on social networks by Marc-André Ter Stegen, a conciliatory attitude was shown in which he warned that: "I understand that difficult moments can generate tension, but I trust that, through dialogue and responsibility, we can resolve this situation constructively. I am fully willing to collaborate with the management to facilitate the required authorization."
A declaration of intentions that would have been well received by FC Barcelona and that may be the beginning of a reconciliation between the Blaugrana team and the German goalkeeper. Now it only remains to be seen how the issue of his number is resolved, since, even on the LaLiga EA Sports website, the German appears without his usual number 1.
