FC Barcelona begins to define details about the works of the Camp Nou

The Camp Nou already has begun to have his first works of remodeling more significant from 1957. Already for this end of year the own FC Barcelona has announced that will move of temporary form the Museu of the Barcelona stadium to the current Palau of Gel, by what will see forced to enter several changes in the new installation.

These works "involve the transfer of the current track of ice", as it has informed the Barça, although desconoce where will situate because it is looking for formulas beside the City council of Barcelona and the district of Them Corts. "It expects that it was available in the next months", has limited to inform the Barcelona club indicating that "the works of remodeling of the building involves the construction of a track of temporary way".

These works, as it has revealed the directive of Joan Laporta, already have begun. The plans of the Barça go through to inaugurate this new emplazamiento of the Museu in the summer of the 2023 after the remodeling affect "to all the space that occupies at present the track of ice and his auxiliary zones, as well as changing rooms and also the façade, where will create new accesses".

An important point in the club

The reform of the Palau of Gel, a building attach to the Palau Blaugrana, that also was inaugurated in 1971, will not see netamente affected, to the equal that the offices of the club. The idea that has the Barça is that the Museu work beside the Camp Nou, whose works will set up this summer of total form. The club equally has remembered that the Museu is not only "an installation of big historical value but also economic".

Therefore, it will enable "one of temporary use, that will occupy 2.400 square metres and will be divided in different zones to create a better experience to the visitor". With this Museu temporary, the Barça wants to turn it into "a pilot proof for the implantation of the most advanced technologies and activities lúdicas" that afterwards will implant in the Camp Nou.
