The managerial board of the Barça has decided by wide majority continue with the process of the action of responsibility on the previous board headed by Joan Laporta after an ordinary meeting that has lengthened more than the usual. In this same meeting the directive has treated other subjects that affect to the first Barcelona team and the rest of sections
The question has generated "a wide debate", as it explains the communiqué of the club, but the majority of the directors have voted in favour of the continuity of the process, promoted by the resigned Sandro Rosell when it took possession of the charge. Therefore, on 15 September they will have to go to declare to the court the 17 exdirectivos of Laporta by the losses generated during his mandate, enciphered in 47,6 million euros. It remains for determining if the judge expands the demand to all the directive of 2003, the one of the first mandate of Laporta, such as they ask the sued, and that integrated also Bartomeu, Rosell and three current directors.
In this same meeting the directive also has reviewed the activity of the first team of football and of the Barça B the past season and has done an analysis of the new contractings for the season 2014-2015 and of the drops produced in the last weeks. Finally, also it has reviewed the activity of the rest of professional sections of the club (basketball, handball, hockey and five-a-side football) and the operations of high and drops made these last months in these areas.
