Morocco lost some 30 million dollars by the organisation of the World-wide of Clubs. As it has informed this Monday the newspaper "Ajbar to the Yaum", these millionaire losses have produced by the costs of transport and of accommodation of the "invited of high level"
The World-wide of Clubs contested in Morocco between the 14 and 20 December has supposed for the African country some losses from among 20 and 30 million dollars in logistical costs, as it informed this Monday the newspaper "Ajbar to the Yaum". The newspaper, that quotes estimates of sources that does not identify, explains that these losses have produced by the costs of transport and of accommodation, specifically the ones of the "invited of high level". Also they have influenced the costs by the change of a party of the semifinal foreseen in Rabat and that finally played in Marrakech because of the bad state of the stadium of the capital and the distribution of a big number of free entrances.
The scandal of the stadium of Rabat, flooded by the rains, caused a big indignation in the Moroccan country, since they invested 25 million dollars in his renewal for the World-wide of Clubs. By this reason, the king of Morocco Mohammed SAW suspended of provisional form the activities of the minister of Sports, Mohamed Uzin, and prevented him assist to the final, that won the Real Madrid in front of the Saint Lorenzo.
The monarch asked also to the president of the government, Abdelilah Benkirán, that carry out a "investigation in depth on the irregularities" and several Moroccan means aim that, this Tuesday, the commission of investigation will present his results to the boss of the government. Also it is foreseen that the minister of Sports appear in front of the Parliament to answer to the questions of the deputies on the scandal of the stadium.
