Three of the ten Barça internationals called up by their national teams saw action on Thursday. Christensen played the full 90 minutes and provided an assist in Denmark's thrashing of Belarus
The FC Barcelona internationals called up for the double international matchday of the October break began to add minutes on Thursday. In total, ten first-team players traveled with their national teams. Three of them saw action with England, the Netherlands, and Denmark.
Frenkie de Jong started for the 'Oranje' in the rout against Malta (0-4). The midfielder played 67 minutes in matchday 5 of Group G for the UEFA qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
