The UEFA Player of the Year nominees are out!

This Thursday, the UEFA has desvelado the list of nominated for the prize Player of the Year of the UEFA 2020-2021. It treats of Kevin of Bruyne, Jorginho and N'Golo Kanté, being all keys for his respective teams in the past course. The winner will know next Thursday 26 August, in the ceremony of the draw of the phase of groups of the Champions League, in Istanbul.

It is the first time in the history of the prize (11 years) that all the nominated are midfield players. The true, in any case, is that the two players of Chelsea and the one of the Manchester City have showed an upper level in the last year and of there that they are merecedores of the distinction. On the way, they have left to stars like Leo Messi (remained in the fourth place, with 148 points), Robert Lewandowski (140 points), Gianluigi Donnarumma (49) or Kylian Mbappé (31).

Finally, the prize to the Trainer of the Year of feminine football will contest it Cortés, Gerhardsson and Hayes.
