What was a secret to voices already is official. The Premier League has expanded the term of suspension that had marked initially, as it was to expect, and will not go back to play like minimum until the next 30 April, with the aim to solve for then the crisis of the coronavirus that strikes no only to England, but also to all the world and especially to Europe.

Through an official communiqué, the English Federation (FA) has agreed the extension of the postponement until 30 April. That is the date that mark the organisms of the English football so that the competition return, since in a principle the league had stopped until 4 April. The fast advance of the coronavirus, however, has done that the English authorities have opted for expanding the postponement of the Premier League.

The decision that has taken in England will take also in Spain, where the Government of Pedro Sánchez will announce an enlargement of the State of Alarm because of the peak of infected by the coronavirus. "The FA, the Premier League, the EFL and the feminine professional game, together with the PFA and the LMA, understand that we are in unprecedented time and that our thoughts are with all the affected by COVID-19. We are joined in our commitment to find forms to restart the season of football 2019/20 and guarantee that all the parties of league and glass of national clubs and Europeans play so prompt as it was safe and possible do it.

We have supported collectively to the UEFA in postponing EURO 2020 to create space in the calendar to ensure that the parties of league and glass of national clubs and Europeans have a greater opportunity to play and, when doing it, keep the integrity of each competition. The Rules and Regulations of the FA establish that "the season will finish to more take on 1 June" and "each competition, inside the limit established by the FA, will determine the length of his own season of game".

However, the Board of the FA has agreed that this limit extend indefinitely for the season 2019/20 in relation with the professional football. Besides, we have agreed collectively that the professional game in England will postpone even more until 30 April.

The progress of COVID-19 follows without being clear and can ensure to all that the health and the welfare of the players, the personnel and the followers are our priority. We will continue following the councils of the Government and will work in collaboration to keep the situation under review and explore all the available options to find forms to restart the season when the conditions allow it.
