The ECA warns on the risks to celebrate the World-wide each two years

The initiative to make a Glass of the World each two years has voices in favour and against. To these last adds the European Association of Clubs (ECA), that has ensured that to materialise the project, would suppose a 'destructive impact', especially regarding the calendars.

From the organism have warned that the physical state of the footballers could see affected: "The proposals of the FIFA would have a direct and destructive impact in the game of the clubs, so much to national level like international. Besides, the proposals would put in risk the health and the welfare of the players".

On the other hand, they sustain that the prestige of the tournaments between clubs would go to rack and ruin, to the equal that in the case of the competitions between selections: "they would dilute the value and the meaning of the competitions of clubs and countries. They would diminish and they would go in in conflict with the feminine and juvenile football".

They reiterate that the FIFA can not do changes unilaterally

Likewise, they have remembered that all these modifications have to have the seen well of the clubs: "Any relative decision to his future only can produce with the consent of the clubs of football, with the welfare of the players in the centre, and in accordance with the obligations legally vinculantes that usually they would not have to need be reaffirmed".

For the ECA, the most important is the health of the footballers: "A calendar modernizado and simpler has to base in a lower number of windows of cession; a better protection and health of the players; and an approach balanced of the football of clubs and international. For this, the ECA has left clear —in public, privately and in repeated occasions— his availability to collaborate with the FIFA to agree which have to be these changes".
