Iran sentences footballer to death for 'treason'

The Union of International Footballers (FIFFPRO) reported this Tuesday the conviction to death to the footballer of 26 years, Amir Nasr-Azadani by part of the government of Iran for joining to the wave of protests that has registered the Arab country in the last time. In fact already the government irarí has make two executions by the same reason.

Nasr-Azadani Is a player with wide experience in the Iranian football that was condemned by "betrayal to the homeland" by his participation in the demonstrations against the death of Mahsa Aminia to less than the Police of the Morals and in favour of the Human rights. Already it does few days made the execution of the Iranian of 23 years, Majid Prays Rahnavard, after having been condemned to death by the murder of two policemen during the demonstrations, in a trial that did not show any type of guarantees for the accused.

The Union of International Footballers by means of Twitter indicated: "FIFPRO is conmocionado and shockeado by the reports that the professional footballer Amir Nasr-Azadani confronts to the execution in Iran after campaigning by the rights of the women and the basic freedoms in his country. We support Amir and ask the immediate elimination of his punishment".

By his part, International Amnesty also required: "The organisation has asked to the international community that use all the necessary means for presionar to the Iranian government so that it detain the executions and the penalty of death". According to the half Iranian 'IranWire', the footballer has been found guilty, together with other two people, of the death of the colonel of the Revolutionary Policeman, Esmaeil Cheraghi.
