After the last meeting of his Managerial Board, invites to "explore all the possible options" and even to "reiniciar with a distinct format" to ensure that the classifications for the European tournaments of clubs adjust to the sportive merit, as long as it keep the health like absolute priority.

In his communiqué includes a list of legitimate reasons to give leagues by finished, and also the criteria of eligibility for his competitions. As it already has sucedido in Belgium, Holland or France, assumes that the pertinent orders of the Governments will have more weight that the ones of any sportive entity, and also mentions "economic problems that put in danger the financial stability on a long-term basis".

Before this date will have to define the future of the championships, titles, promotions and descents and European classifications, some assessments that carries some days requesting and that correspond to the leaders of each country and to the corresponding federations. In any case, UEFA reserves the right to refuse or evaluate the admission of any team if it doubts of the guidelines gone on down the federative organisms, "if the national competitions have not been finished prematurely by the exposed reasons or by any another legitimate reason of public health, if the procedures used are not objective or if it exists public perception of injustice".

Optimistic message of Ceferin

The coronavirus is something terrible, but is not the Apocalypse. We will go out of this".
