Barça presents its jersey for the Clásico with Ed Sheeran as the star

On Tuesday, Barça presented the jersey with the logo of singer Ed Sheeran's new album, which Hansi Flick's team will wear on October 26 against Real Madrid
FC Barcelona will put on sale this Wednesday the special jersey that the team led by Hansi Flick will wear in the first Clásico of LaLiga 25/26, against Real Madrid on Sunday, October 26 (16:15 CEST). Ed Sheeran will be the star of the jersey, as the Barça shirt features the logo of his new studio album, titled 'Play'.
The logo of the British singer's latest musical production will also be present on the Barça Women's jersey next Sunday, October 19, against Granada, as part of the agreement between the Catalan club and Spotify.
Ed Sheeran has more than 92 million followers on the Spotify platform and is presenting his eighth album, Play, in an unbeatable setting. The Spanish football Clásico registers audiences of more than 650 million viewers worldwide, and Barça, on this occasion, arrives as defending champion in search of its fifth consecutive victory against 'los merengues' (the Whites).

The exclusive edition of the Barça jersey with the Play logo on the front will be available from this Wednesday the 15th in the Barça Stores, in the Club's e-commerce and in the Nike store on Passeig de Gràcia in Barcelona.
The club also announced an exclusive pre-sale window from Tuesday the 14th at 10:00 PM to Wednesday the 15th at 10:00 AM to purchase the jersey and the rest of the 'lifestyle' collection inspired by Ed Sheeran.
This includes two shirts, a sweatshirt, and a scarf. In total, there will be 1,899 'Match' quality shirts for sale and another 22 that include the signatures of all the players from the first men's and women's teams.
As a novelty for the first Clásico of the 25/26 League season, there will also be 11 exclusive jerseys signed by Ed Sheeran. On the day of the match at the Bernabéu, Spotify will launch the Barça Matchday playlist with a list of songs selected by the artist. In addition, the jersey will also appear in KONAMI's eFootball video game.

After the launch of the Barça jersey with the logo of his new album, Ed Sheeran expressed his satisfaction at being able to promote his most recent musical production together with the Blaugrana team and Spotify.
"Seeing my new album, Play, on the Barça shirt is one of those moments that's hard for me to believe. I've loved football all my life, so bringing my music to such an iconic stage and sharing it with fans around the world means a lot to me," the British singer-songwriter began.

Ed Sheeran will be the seventh artist to display his logo on his Liga Clásico on the Barça jersey. The first was Canadian rapper Drake, in October 2022. Then, in March 2023, it was the turn of the Spanish singer and actress Rosalía.
For 23/24, the chosen ones were the legendary rock band The Rolling Stones and the Colombian singer Karol G. The previous season, Barça sported the logos of another British band, Coldplay, and the American rapper Travis Scott.
The balance of Clásicos since the agreement with Spotify came into effect, in La Liga, is 3 victories for Barça and 3 for Real Madrid, with the rout at the Santiago Bernabéu last season (0-4) being the most lopsided result in favor of the Blaugrana.
