Real Betis Balompié confirmed the hiring of Ramón Planes as the new 'verdiblanco' sports director. The former technical secretary of FC Barcelona signed until 2026 to replace Antonio Cordón

Ramón Plans signed his agreement like new sportive director of the Real Betis Balompié this Monday, with which will assume the reins of the planning of the club to the end of the season 2025/26. The Catalan leader was attach to the technical office of the Barça in the seasons 2018/19 and 2019/20, commissioning formally of the area in the 2020/21 in replacement of Éric Abidal, a charge that kept until his renunciation in November of 2021.

During his stage in the Barça, Plans worked in the management of the signings of Ansu Fati, Gavi, Alejandro Balde, Pedri and Ronald Araújo, being these the traspasos more important of his career dirigencial.
