Official: Javier Thebes goes back to be president of LaLiga after his 'false' resignation

LaLiga Has announced today the nomination of Javier Thebes like new president. It will be his fourth commanding at the head of the presidency of LaLiga after pesentarse comoo only candidate. The Electoral Commission of the National League of Professional Football has gathered today to proclaim of provisional form to Javier Thebes president of LaLiga until 2027 and everything aims that the next 14 December will confirm officially his nomination.

Like this it communicated it the Electoral Commission of the National League of Professional Football in his account of Twitter: "The Electoral Commission of LALIGA has proclaimed in the day of today and of provisional form to Javier Thebes Medrano like president of LALIGA".

It resigned like president of LaLiga the past 22 November

Thebes presented to the candidature after resigning like president the past 22 November. It has been reelected at most leader of the organisation in three occasions. Thebes accessed to the presidency of LaLiga in 2013, replacing to José Luis Astiazarán, that had exerted the charge of president from 2004. In 2016 it was reelected with the support of the majority of the Spanish clubs like president of the patronal, initiating a second mandate. Three years afterwards went back to present his candidature to be reelected until 2024.

The past 22 November, Thebes presented his resignation with the aim to lengthen his mandate at the head of LaLiga. His third mandate finished the next 24 December and his idea was to be reelected like president.
