RFEF suspends all the football except the First and Second Division leagues

The Real Spanish Federation of Football (RFEF) has opted for suspending during two weeks all the football matchs and five-a-side football to guarantee "the homogeneity of the competitions, the integrity and the necessary competitive balance", because of the impossibility to contest meetings or trainings in diverse cities or regions of the country. Through a circulate has made public it and also has headed to the professional and no professional clubs of the national territory.

"Yesterday we send you a Circulate by means of which announced you that in the meeting of the day of today of the Commission Delegated would propose the adoption of a series of measures that quoted in the Circular. This decision adopts because from the RFEF have to guarantee the HOMOGENEITY of the competitions of football, the integrity and the necessary competitive balance, and since it has ascertained that exists real impossibility to contest football matchs and develop trainings in determinate cities and/or territories of our country. The Commission of Follow-up, gathered with character of urgency this same morning, has agreed to elevate to the Commission Delegated, that gathers today, the adoption of the following measures from today same always under the coordination and supervision of the sportive and sanitary authorities.

In front of the evaluation of the new situation, the RFEF communicates to all the Territorial Federations and other actors of the world of the football that, in accordance with the articles 4, 5 and 42, 3 to) of the Statutes of the RFEF, will propose to the Commission Delegated of the Assembly of the RFEF, that gathers today with character of urgency, all a group of measures between which include :

- That all the parties of the Competitions of Football and Five-a-side football of State Field no professional will remain suspended from today same by the term of two weeks.

- That all the parties of the Competitions of Football and Five-a-side football of Autonomic Field in all the disciplines and in all the categories recommends to the Territorial Federations that adopt the decision that consider more timely in function of the circumstances in each territory and always and anyway, of common agreement with the sanitary and sportive authorities of each Autonomous Community. Nevertheless, the RFEF advises the suspension of all the parties during the term of two weeks.

These decisions will be subject to the changes that advise us in each moment from the sanitary and sportive authorities. They will keep the proposals that formulated in the day of yesterday in relation with the Glass of H.M. the King and of H.M. the Queen, as well as the parties of the Spanish Selection of absolute Football.

At the same time, it will invite to the LNFP to that it can add to the Commission of Follow-up to evaluate of conjoint form and coordinated, as it foresees the valid legislation, the changes that went necessary to make in the professional competitions. Of the same way, will do with the National Commission of Five-a-side football, as well as, with the Union AFE and the associations of players and players of five-a-side football so that they can add to the group of work and follow-up.
