Sevilla - FC Barcelona: Confirmed Lineups - LaLiga 24/25

OFFICIAL: The starting lineups of FC Barcelona under Hansi Flick and Sevilla under Xavier García Pimienta are now confirmed for the match of matchday 23 of LaLiga 2024/25.

Hansi Flick will be out in full force in what is a real final for the Catalans, although he has introduced a couple of surprises. Ronald Araujo, Gavi and Robert Lewandowski return to the starting XI after being rested against Valencia, while Frenkie de Jong and Iñigo Martínez are the new additions. The rest of the line-up will be made up of the German's 'untouchables', who will field his star eleven on the Sánchez-Pizjuán pitch.

Significant changes in the eleven that played against Valencia in the quarter-finals of the Copa del Rey:

1. In the center of defense, Ronald Araujo replaces Eric García
2. Marc Casadó returns to the midfield instead of Frenkie de Jong
3. Gavi returns to the starting lineup in place of Fermín López
4. Robert Lewandowski replaces Ferran Torres in the attack

The Barça arrives in Sevilla in unbeatable form. The culés remain unbeaten in 2025 and return to LaLiga after crushing Valencia at Mestalla to secure their place in the semifinals of the Cup (0-5). After the draw between Real Madrid and Atlético de Madrid, the Catalans will seek three points that will allow them to dangerously close in on the top of the table and dream once again of the league title.

For that reason, Flick has left no room for doubt and has put 'all the meat on the grill'. Szczesny, confirmed as the owner of the blue-and-burgundy goal, will remain under the three posts, accompanied by what is already the undisputed defensive quartet of the team for the rest of the season.
