They live hours 'hot' in the Spanish football because of the next approval of the Law of the Sport. This law urges to preserve the balompié national, and in principle all the clubs were in favour of the same. However, the political groups PSOE and PP took the decision to delete three amendments that conformed the same, situation that did not like at all to the clubs of LaLiga and to the same competition, that would be by the work to go to strike to show his dissatisfaction.

And it is that the retreat of said amendments gave origin to the problem. The clubs of First and Second division, except the FC Barcelona, the Real Madrid and the Athletic Club, had asked so much to the government as to the political parties the inclusion of a series of amendments in the new Law of the Sport to protect his investments, his future and the sustainability of the business. Nevertheless, these could be hurtful in another sense, by what were excluded of the text.

The Superliga and CVC

One of these amendments forbade the participation of the clubs in other no recognised competitions by the UEFA or the FIFA. That is to say, the Superliga. It is of public knowledge the rejection of Thebes to the project promoted by barcelonistas and merengues, having brush mediáticos so much with Joan Laporta as with Florentino Pérez. It is for this reason that, when being separated this request of the Law of the Sport, LaLiga has loomed with stopping the competition.

Of the same form, the second amendment suppressed kept the content of the current article 46 of the valid law, which sustains that any normative modification of the RFEF that have some impact in the professional football will require a previous and favourable report to the LaLiga. To the not forming part of the new law, the RFEF will not be demanded to issue a previous report to the patronal, by what the Federation could change the already mentioned normative of unilateral way.

Finally, the third amendment had like aim avoid the juridical insecurity to the moment to explode the commercialisation of the rights of LaLiga. Like this then , the withdrawal of this amendment can put in danger the agreement with the investment fund CVC. And it is that if the Law of the Sport does not protect legally the pact made by Thebes with the investment fund, these could break the deal and demand to the clubs the million euros advanced for the digital structures and reforms in the installations of the entities.

The interest of Thebes

Further of the dissatisfaction of the clubs, the pressure of Thebes could have an unseen reason behind. The agreement with CVC includes a clause in which Javier will have to continue like president along the next years. Since it did charge of the presidency of LaLiga, the wage of the lawyer has suffered a considerable increase, happening of the 360 one thousand euros to the more 3,6 millions that earns at present. Thus, Javier has changed the flag of Ukraine by the lemma "Law of the Sport for all" in the television transmissions of the parties.

Next Thursday, key day

Like this then , next Thursday 27 October the clubs will gather in an Extraordinary Assembly summoned of urgency. The reason of the same will be to study the derivative situation of the changes carried out and decide if it will go to strike and will detain the competition like measure of protest to the new Law of the Sport. In the meantime, the law will arrive this Tuesday to to the Commission of Culture of the Congress and could be approved in the next hours.
