Tebas resigns from his LaLiga post as part of his electoral strategy

The plan of Thebes, that has included this surprising renunciation, seems not having too many fail since it does not foresee opposition in a process that will carry out before it finalise the year, avoiding so it find with the election of a new president of the RFEF.

LaLiga Will have a new president, at least by some days

With this decision, will be the two vice-presidents, Miguel Ángel Gil Marín and Quico Catalan, those who will remain headed by LaLiga provisionally and will be already in the afternoon of the Wednesday when it configure the Electoral Commission. Thebes carries directing the institution from April of 2013, and went only in 2016 when there was a possible threat of direct rival to present to the candidature. It treated of the previous president of the Eíbar, Álex Aranzabal.
