The new project of the Superliga European that the UEFA and the ECA want to implement in the next seasons has not had a good received in the corresponding national leagues of each country. In Spain obviously neither and Javier Thebes, president of LaLiga, shows totally contrary to that this new format of Champions League become a reality some day.
In an interview conceded to the daily World, Thebes has confirmed that the competition will finish being a failure tremendo and that are prejudicing gravely to the national competitions. "The Superchampions that poses the coalition ECA-UEFA aims to conspiracy. They are building a competition that to half long term will be an authentic failure and that aims directly to the heart of the national competitions. That anybody deceive , is a coalition divided between rich and poor in which only 32 of them will have a pass VIP", explained.
The president incidió in ste appearance of the rich and the poor and affirmed that this new Superliga only will represent to some and that this will damage to the majority of teams of Europe. The true is that economically speaking this Superliga could prejudice gravely to a lot of groups. Thebes does not think that this new format go to go out forward by all what argues and aims that the presidents of the national leagues go to try do all what was in his hands to prevent it. "The reform that UEFA and ECA think to do will not go out forward, by a lot of that empeñen, because the Leagues go it to prevent... Or it arrives to an agreement and there is pact, or no only will not support the reform, but this will be unfeasible", affirmed contundentemente.
Thebes put of example to the FIFA
The FIFA and his World-wide of new Clubs also have received critical, but Thebes puts this project like example and compares it with the one of the UEFA with the Superliga. "The FIFA has modified his plans in profit of the fans and in solidarity with the football.
