The ex goalkeeper of the Barça Víctor Valdés is the best goalkeeper of the history of the League, according to a study of the Centre of Investigation of History and Statistics of the Spanish Football (CIHEFE), that has analysed the evolution of the goalkeepers from the 1928.

The Catalan goalkeeper surpasses in this classification to Thibaut Courtois (At. Madrid), Francisco Liaño (Racing, Sportive and Sporting), Roberto Rodríguez "Rodri" (At. Madrid and Celtic) and Mariano García Remón (Real Madrid). It surprises to see how some of the goalkeepers that more years have occupied the main goals of the League find in places more discreet: like this, Arkonada is the 13º, Zubizarreta the 17º, and Boxes occupies the 20º place.

The report, elaborated by the studious Vidal Viñarás of Blas, analyses the evolution of 790 goalkeepers that have played in First since it began the championship, in 1928.
