The Pichichi of LaLiga, a consolation prize for Mbappé

Mbappé scored 9 goals in his last 5 matches to take the lead in the scoring charts alone. The Frenchman scored 2 against Celta, 3 against Barça, 1 against Mallorca and another against Sevilla, in addition to his double on matchday 38.
In addition, the French international took advantage thanks to 7 penalties in favor and an unusual sanction of just one match after his criminal tackle on Antonio Blanco in the matchday 31 match against Alavés (0-1).
In this way, the standings of top scorers in LaLiga EA Sports 2024/25 ends with Kylian Mbappé as leader (31), with 4 goals ahead of Robert Lewandowski (25).
The '9' of Barça lost his advantage after being absent in the matches against Mallorca, Valladolid and Real Madrid. For Mbappé, the Pichichi was a consolation prize, after a first season without important titles with the 'Casa Blanca'.
The Frenchman had to settle for two minor trophies (the European Super Cup and the Intercontinental Cup), while Barça swept in Spain with the domestic treble (League, Cup and Super Cup).
Lewandowski was 4 goals away from his second Pichichi in LaLiga
In the case of Robert Lewandowski, the Pole was on the verge of his second Pichichi in the tournament, although he was able to revalidate the title obtained in 22/23. In that tournament, the '9' led the scoring charts with 23 goals, 4 less than he scored in 24/25.
In addition, the 36-year-old striker finished the season with 42 goals in all competitions, his historical top with the culés. In 23/24, 'Lewi' scored 19 goals in LaLiga and 26 in all competitions, 7 less than in his debut season.
Behind Mbappé and Lewandowski, the podium of LaLiga 24/25 top scorers was completed by Ante Budimir (Osasuna), with 21 goals, one more than Alexander Sorloth (Atlético). The Norwegian closed the season with a 'hat-trick', but it was not enough to match the Croatian. The Zarra Trophy was in the hands of Ayoze Pérez (Villarreal), with 19 goals.
16 Barça players scored in LaLiga 2024/25
For Barça, Raphinha also finished his best year with the club, with 18 goals in LaLiga, 8 more than Ferran Torres and Dani Olmo (10). The Terrassa native closed the rout on matchday 38 against Athletic (0-3) with a penalty in added time, with which he surpassed Lamine Yamal (9).
Fermín López, on the other hand, closed the tournament with 6 goals, a couple more than Pedri (4). Pablo Torre, despite playing very little, scored 3 goals, while Eric García, Frenkie de Jong, Jules Koundé and Pau Víctor scored 2 goals each.
The rest of the 102 goals for Hansi Flick's Barcelona in LaLiga were scored by Gavi, Gerard Martín, Frenkie de Jong and Marc Casadó. In total, 16 players from the Azulgrana squad shook the nets in LaLiga 24/25.
