The moving letter of farewell of Andrés Iniesta to the Spanish selection

The season 2017-18 continues with the farewells for Andrés Iniesta, that after saying goodbye to the FC Barcelona does it with the Spanish selection. The manchego left in the air his decision in spite of continuing his career in the Vissel Kobe Japanese, but finally or destination will be the same that with the club: it will step at the side.

After the painful elimination against Russia, the one of Fuentealbilla already recognised that it had arrived his hour, a speech that has corroborated this Tuesday with the publication of a letter in the social networks. In them, it does balance of his stage and reflexiona on all the dream fulfilled, appreciating to all those that supported him on the way. 

The writing, accompanied with some images of his best moments with the 'red', has had a big received by part of the fans, that has shared big samples of affection to which considers one of the best footballers of the national history. Still it has not decided what will do with his future, but are not few those that have ensured that it would like them go back to see him near of the bench of the selection.

"Hello To all,"

"14 years ago that put me for the first time the T-shirt of our selection, were 15 years old and never will forget this moment. It was the dream of my life can defend the colours of my country. It is something very special, no only a dream, also a big responsibility. During all these years have tried to be conscious of what means and to give the maximum so that you felt you proud".

"I think that I have had the luck to be able to live one of the best stages of the Spanish football, with a generation of players that have been and are exceptional in all the senses. We have attained big successes, things that all dreamed when we were small, but also have had big disappointments and have lived moments very difficult. To all, thank you very much for doing me better mate and better footballer. It has been a pride can share with all you all these years".

"Now it is the moment to step at the side. It has not been an at all easy decision, on the contrary, carry a lot of months thinking in this. The illusion and win them for continuing are total, but always have said that would finish doing the best for the selection. The future is exciting, with a group of players that are incredible and that from now will have me like a fan more supporting them unconditionally. I do not have any doubt that what comes by in front will be wonderful and that will harvest big successes. The group that there is is impressive".
