Paco Gento has passed away this Tuesday at 88 years of age. This has been communicated by Real Madrid through its social networks. The honorary president of the merengue team leaves this plane as one of the legends in the history of the Santiago Bernabéu
The Real Madrid has communicated through his social networks the demise of Francisco 'Paco' Gento to his 88 years of age. So much Florentino Pérez, like the managerial board of the white group, have regretted the loss of one of the biggest stars in the history of the institution and of the world-wide football. Besides, the club also has expressed his condolencias to his wife, children, grandchildren, familiar, friends and beings wanted that they accompanied it during all his life.
As it reviews the communiqué, the figure of 'Paco' represent all the values of the madridismo, and has been and will continue being a referent for the White House and the world of the balompié Spanish. Always it will be remembered like one of the big myths of the world-wide football. The institution, besides, also does extensivas his condolencias to all the partners and fans of the Madrid around the planet.

Also it dressed the elastic merengue during 18 seasons, between 1953 and 1971. An only career
The path of Gento like sportsman and player of the Madrid was one of the most glorious of all the entity. Been born in Santander, was known as 'The Galerna of the Bay of Biscay' and coincided in the field with Alfredo Gave Stéfano, with the one who made history in the first big stage of the club with five Glass of consecutive Europe. Both were the maximum representatives of the years 50 and 60 of that team that began to dominate 'the old continent'.
