The central Catalan of the FC Barcelona, Gerard Hammered, has conceded an interview to the program "Pomeriggio Cinque", of Mediaset Italy, in which it has spoken on some subjects of his personal life and also of his expectations around the Balloon of Gold 2017, that expects that it win Leo Messi although the FC Barcelona will not win any important title this season.
"It would be beautiful that the Balloon of Gold won it Buffon..."
In the case that Leo Messi did not achieve to heave with the prestigious award, Hammered has clear which is his alternative for the prize. "It would be beautiful that the trophy won it Buffon, has won the Scudetto, the Coppa Italy and now can win the Champions League. It deserves it to him by the career that has done, by this season and because it would be beautiful to see it win to another goalkeeper after Yashin", has commented.
In any case, has very clear that Leo Messi is the best footballer of the world, and that therefore it would deserve to conquer the prize year after year. "Who can win the Balloon of Gold? Messi is the best player of the world and of the history. This year it will win the Boot of Gold like goleador and deserves the Balloon of Gold again", has ensured.
Cristiano, main candidate to the Balloon of Gold?
The question is that, to day of today, grow the possibilities that Cristiano Ronaldo can heave again with the prize, taking into account that it already has won LaLiga and, if it attains also the Champions, will be the main candidate to the award when being said tournament the most valued by the voters.
If it won the award, Cristiano Ronaldo would happen to equalise to Leo Messi with five Balloons of Gold, something unthinkable given the infinite differences -especially regarding technician, vision and creation of game- between both players.
